EPISODE #2- Peter Strople / MAR 3rd

INTRODUCTION
We heard in our last podcast from Dr. Ron Jenson as he defined the elements of authentic success at a personal level. In this episode, Peter Strople connects authentic success with the concepts and practice of authentic relationships.

Peter’s career includes achievements in the introduction of the Grid portable computer, an experience that served him well in his later tenure with DELL and ultimately in the launch of his firm Zero 2. Welcome Peter.
Response: Thank you. It’s great to be here.

1. Peter, you’ve been called one of the most connected men in America. Your firm, Zero2, is focused on helping people develop authentic relationships, essentially on connecting companies. When did it first become clear to you that your passion was creating connections?
Response: Epiphany of how we started Zero2

2. We hear a lot about the concept of relationships today: but these “relationships” often take the form as a series of transactions, especially in business. Peter, you’re talking about “authentic relationships.” Would you share what you mean by this, and why authentic relationships are important in all aspects of someone’s life?
Response: At it’s core, it’s all about TRUST

3.    This all seems pretty reasonable: Given that, why don’t more individuals, businesses or organizations try to establish “authentic” relationships?
Response: Again, the issue is TRUST: we don’t foster relationships. Let me go back to the company I referenced earlier….example.

4.    Before we wrap up, if there is one thing you’d like listeners to think about between now and our next episode, what is it?
Response: What do your firm stand for? Where are your most valuable business connections?
